Armenia participated in the Warsaw International Book Fair

Armenia took part in the annual Warsaw International Book Fair through a joint initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia and the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Poland.

The Armenian pavilion featured works by Armenian classical and contemporary writers and artists, as well as publications on Armenia and Armenian history by local and foreign authors in Armenian, Polish, and other languages.

As part of the fair, a presentation was held for a Armenian fairy-tale book translated and illustrated by young members of the Armenian community in Poland. The project was initiated by the Embassy of Armenia in Poland, coordinated by the Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs in Poland, and supported by the Honorary Consulate of Armenia in Poznań.

In his remarks at the presentation, Ambassador Alexander Arzoumanian highlighted the unique centuries-old Armenian–Polish cultural ties and the main objectives of the initiative.

The fair also featured readings and discussions of the Polish-language editions of Aram Pachyan’s P/F, Lusine Kharatyan’s Forget-Me-Not, and Hrant Matevosyan’s Hangover.
