Within the framework of the inaugural Armenia–EU summit, the working arrangement on operational cooperation in the field of border management between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX, headquartered in Warsaw) was initialed. The document was signed by Armenia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Arpine Sargsyan, and the Executive Director of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX), Hans Leijtens.
