The Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Poland participated in the opening ceremony of the newly established Sadok Barącz Center for Research on the History of Polish Armenians at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków

On March 18 the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Poland, Alexander Arzoumanian, participated in the opening ceremony of the newly established Sadok Barącz Center for Research on the History of Polish Armenians at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.
In his remarks, Ambassador Arzoumanian emphasized the importance of the Center’s activities in advancing Armenian studies and strengthening cooperation between Armenian and Polish academic institutions.
Speeches were also delivered by the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education, Prof. Andrzej Szeptycki, the Rector of the Jagiellonian University, Prof. Piotr Jedynak, and the Director of the Institute of History of the Jagiellonian University, Dr hab. Janusz Mierzwa, Prof. UJ.
During the event, members of the newly established Council of the Center were appointed. On behalf of the Council, Chairman Hrachya Boyajyan delivered remarks of appreciation.
Presentations were also delivered by Ara Khzmalyan, Director of the Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts (Matenadaran) in Yerevan, and Prof. Krzysztof Stopka, Director of the Museum of the Jagiellonian University.
