Meeting with the Executive Director of FRONTEX

On April 19, Ambassador of Armenia to Poland Alexander Arzoumanian met Mr. Hans Leijtens, Executive Director of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX).

During the meeting, issues related to the possibilities of expanding formats of cooperation between the Agency and relevant institutions of Armenia in ensuring border security, control of cross-border crimes, and other directions of the agency's activities were discussed.

Ambassador Arzoumanian provided updates on the security situation around Armenia, measures undertaken to normalize relations with Azerbaijan, efforts to unblock regional communication channels, and the activities and the role of the EU monitoring mission in Armenia.
