The Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Poland

On September 21, in New York, within the framework of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Zbigniew Rau, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland.

During the meeting, issues on regional security and stability were discussed. Touching upon the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against the people of Nagorno-Karabakh on September 19, Minister Mirzoyan emphasized the unacceptability of Baku's policy of ethnic cleansing against the people of Nagorno-Karabakh. In the context of preventing mass atrocity crimes and humanitarian catastrophe in Nagorno-Karabakh, the imperative of effective and clear steps by international partners was emphasized.

The issues on Armenian-Polish bilateral agenda, as well as Armenia-EU partnership were also on the agenda of the meeting.
