Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with foreign ambassadors, diplomats and representatives of think tanks in Poland at the Polish Institute of International Relations

25 February, 2026
During his official visit to the Republic of Poland, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Polish Institute of International Affairs, where he met with foreign ambassadors accredited to Poland, diplomats, and representatives of analytical centers.
Nikol Pashinyan delivered a speech addressing the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The head of government emphasized that the architecture of peace is based on the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration, and that the peace process reached its peak on August 8 in Washington, D.C., with the signing of a joint declaration on the peace framework between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The declaration was adopted at the initiative and with the participation of U.S. President Donald Trump, together with the President of Azerbaijan.
According to the Prime Minister, without the participation, personal engagement, and initiative of the U.S. President, the peace process would have remained uncertain. It is unequivocal that the initiative and involvement of the U.S. President played a very important role in achieving peace in the region.
